Kindergarten at Junior Academy Children’s Centers provides an atmosphere in which children will succeed. Our goal is to foster each child’s natural love of learning, along with further developing his/her optimum potential intellectually, socially, physically and emotionally.

Our kindergarten has always been a full day program with low child-staff ratios. Our loving, patient, experienced certified teachers provide a solid foundation for your child’s growth and development.

The children experience number concepts using clocks, calendars, counting and math language. Language and reading are developed through singing, speaking, listening, storytelling and dramatic play. Writing develops finer hand-eye coordination, use of the alphabet, and proper formation of letters. Social studies and science activities are a part of the curriculum as well.

Indoor group time and outdoor supervised games and activities promote large muscle development, coordination and learning to share with others. Parental involvement is highly encouraged. Our separate music teacher provides daily music and movement classes.
