Kaleidoscope is the newest addition to Junior Academy Children’s Centers. For families seeking an affordable and quality alternative to the public schools, Kaleidoscope offers an individualized academic program for children in kindergarten through second grade. In a safe, healthy and loving environment, our experienced teachers create a challenging academic atmosphere where values, including respect and responsibility, are emphasized.

Each child’s educational needs are met according to his/her developmental level and ability, not age or grade level. Flexibility and responsiveness to the individual child is a cornerstone of our program.

The program offers small class size with certified teachers who remain with your child for their entire Kaleidoscope experience. The teachers provide direction and activities that help children develop good self-images and the confidence to face challenges. Junior Academy’s Kaleidoscope program promotes the "whole child," including social, intellectual, physical and emotional development.

Our program curriculum includes reading, mathematics, spelling, penmanship, science, social studies, art, music and an introduction to computer science. Field trips are taken to enhance the children’s academic experiences. We encourage open communication with parents to share ideas, questions, or concerns. Regular parent-teacher conferences are scheduled as well. Parents are welcome at any time to visit, participate in activities, or join us on a field trip!
